Jackson to Ring Lake Ranch

I woke early this morning and headed out to capture a sunrise and perhaps a moose, bear, or elk. I saw no Critters, but did get to see the setting moon and sunrise.

Later in the morning, we picked up Rebecca Hutchison at the airport. Rebecca is Vicki’s oldest friend, going back to Jr. High in Jackson, MS. She is also the person who first introduced us to the Enneagram, and years later, to Sandra Smith, master teacher of the Enneagram, and the person leading the sessions at Ring Lake Ranch.

We had a delicious brunch at The Bunnery in Jackson, then headed for the ranch. This the view from our front porch…

Down by one of the three lakes

After settling in, we had dinner and an orientation. I haven’t ridden a horse since high school, but I told our hosts I would ride. But mostly, I hope to fish!
